With a deep love of film to guide him accompanied by an education forged from big band tours of Cuba at Kirrawee High School, composition at UNSW (BMus Hon 1st Class), orchestration through Berklee, and countless other compositional mentors; as a creative, Ryan is equal parts energetic and enthusiastic to take on any project.

Already, his practice has seen him work on productions by Legendary Pictures, Lionsgate Sound, Screen Australia, Create NSW, ABC (Australian Broadcast Corporation), as well as receiving a shortlist nomination in 2021 for the APRA AMCOS Professional Development Awards. In 2025, Ryan was the first Australian composer to write music for an AppleTV+ production, Unicorn Girl.

Ryan believes strongly that the synergy created between moving picture and music can create transcendent, everlasting experiences and stories. Ones which empower people to think, transform and act in their lives.
